Checking out New Campgrounds

Published by Thomas Burgett on

Norma has been off work for “Spring Break” and we haven’t been able to do much, but Saturday we will head out to Chattanooga. We just need to get out of the house and thought a short drive might be a good break. There are several campgrounds in the area that we want to drive through to see if they fit our needs and aren’t too expensive.

We made the trip to Chattanooga on Saturday and had the best weather we’ve had all year. We went to the Chattanooga Choo Choo which is a hotel that uses train cars as rooms. Also other businesses operate out of the train cars as well. After we ate lunch at the Frothy Monkey coffee shop, we went out back to walk around the train depot styled court yard and took some photos and video. A Wonderful couple stopped and offered to take a photo of the 4 of us. We humbly accepted and as we talked, they were from Peggy’s Cove Nova Scotia which is our Summer Vacation destination. We have a great time getting to know them and it all happened as if it were fate or destiny.
